Madhish Parikh, brought up in Ahmedabad, India is an active Youth Leader and is associated with many social change making organizations. He is an alumnus of L D College of Engineering holding Bachelors in Computer Engineering. Being an Engineer he is more inclined towards Social Services.
His Social Journey started with National Service Scheme (NSS) as a volunteer. He aims to bring an admirable change in the society and passionately works in that direction. “Arise, awake and Stop not till your goal is reached” has always been a Source Code of motivation for him. He has been working extensively in almost all possible social sectors like health, environment conservation, blood donations, digital literacy, education, youth empowerment, women empowerment, national integration, international integration, awareness programs and much more.
In recognition to his social works he is honored with many awards by the government as well as National Organizations. He was awarded with “Best NSS Volunteer” Award by Gujarat Technological University. Government of Gujarat awarded him with “Gujarat State NSS Award”. For his outstanding community welfare services he was awarded with “Indira Gandhi Award” by Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on November 19, 2014 at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. He received “Volunteer Hero Award” by iVolunteer. He was selected by Government of India as an Indian Delegate to Bahrain in December 2015 where he worked upon Indo-Bahraini relations and represented India at an International Level. He was honoured with “National Youth Award” by Government of India which is the highest award of the nation in the category of youth. He has been an Indian Delegate to “Women Higher Education for Disarmament and Peace, Vienna Forum” at UN Head Quarters in Vienna, Austria. He also represented India at Shape Asia Pacific 2017 at Cebu Island, Philippines in 2017.
Pragya Pandey from Madhya Pradesh is the Vice President for the foundation. She is into legal administration of the foundation and initiates women centric programs of the foundation.
She holds educational portfolios in B.Com, M.Com in Rural Development Marketing and Management, B.Ed Special Education in Mental Retardation. She was awarded the IG NSS Award by Hon’ble President of India at Rashrapati Bhavan, New Delhi in 2014. She was also the contingent member of the Republic Day Parade at Rajpath, New Delhi in 2012. She has numerous distinguished achievements like the Rajya Stariya National Service Scheme Award for best Volunteer in 2013 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
She has also been a National Basket Ball Player and has represented at the National Sub Junior Basketball Championship 2008 Kapurtala, Punjab. For 2 times she was the university captain and represented 5 times as a player for Dr Harisingh Gaur Central University, Madhya Pradesh. She has worked extensively for AIDS Patients, Sanitation Program and Women Empowerment by creating employment opportunities. Currently she is working for rehabilitation of differently abled children in Madhya Pradesh.
Parmeshwar hails from Rajasthan and is a social activist. Mr Choudhary is the Vice President for the foundation and looks after the legal affairs and advisory body of the foundation. He has been awarded with the IG NSS Award by Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi in 2014. Parmeshwar has his Post Graduation in Political Science from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
He is very active in youth dynamics of Rajasthan and has participated and contributed in many National Programs of Government of India. His initiatives in the sector of youth development have been lauded by the state and central government. Currently he is the Assistant Director and Manager of Roshani Marbles – a leading venture of Makrana Marbles in Rajasthan.
Miral Patel from Ahmedabad is the Secretary for the foundation. She always has been passionate towards empowering the community and for her excellent service acts, she was awarded with the IG NSS Award by Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi in 2014.
She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance from Gujarat. As a value addition, she has gone through Medical Achievement Course. She helps with all health related initiatives of the foundation and is a part of the joint decision taking committee. Currently she is placed at Amneal Pharmaceutical Research and development department Matoda.
Kavya Velani, brought up in the cultural city Vadodara is a dynamic youth leader. She has completed her schooling from DPS Vadodara and is an alumnus of CEPT University Ahmedabad. Since a very young age Kavya has been open to the elements of different cultures and heritage. Being a part of various cultural programmers held in USA, UK, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia helped her gain a massive exposure to different customs and traditions. The voyage to the social interests led Kavya to the elation of helping people that provided her with a special kind of joy.
Almost immediately after her college she found her feet as a design consultant and has worked with major institutes like IIM A, IIT KHARAGPUR, NID, Government of Kerala etc. She has also been associated with schools and institutes like Riverside, COIS, Divine Child International, BRDS, KUMON providing her a special understanding of working with children. Kavya strongly believes in the expression of, ‘CHANGE TODAY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW’ and is constantly using education and awareness as the weapon for the change to make this world a better place. This all gives an insight of what a cosmic competent youth leader Kavya is in making.
Janmesh Parikh from Ahmedabad holds his Bachelors in Commerce and is the Joint Secretary for the foundation. He is an active member of the foundation and looks after the technology aspects and digital platform of the foundation.
He is leading multiple projects of the foundation and has great managerial skills. Currently he is into IT Business.
Ravi Jani from Ahmedabad is the Treasurer for the foundation and looks after the financial aspects of the foundation. During his college days, he was an active volunteer with NSS, Government of India and has benefitted the community to a great extent.
For his community services, he was awarded the IG NSS Award by Hon’ble President of India at Rashrapati Bhavan, New Delhi in 2014. Currently he works with a digital media company as an editor.
Her interest lies in Community Consultation, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Heritage Tourism, Crafts and Rural Development and Urban Heritage.
Mr Kamal Kumar Kar is the Regional Director with NSS Regional Directorate for Gujarat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. The officer has numerous achievements on his name and has been very instrumental in shaping the state of National Service Scheme in Gujarat State and making it a role model for other states to replicate. He always loves to stay with the young community and motivates them for nation development initiatives. He has impacted the community on a greater scale through his vision and benefited thousands of youths across the nation.
He periodically reviews the initiatives of the foundation and his valued inputs and experience are of great importance for the foundation.
